Our Deacons

It is the duty of the deacons to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress… They shall have the care of the property of the congregation, both real and personal, and shall keep in proper repair the church.

  • ANdy Eberhardt

    Andy and wife Mary Ann have been members at Hope Church since 2014. Andy has been serving as a Deacon at Hope Church since 2023.


  • George Herc

    George has been a member of Hope church since 2010. George is part of the Benevolence team and participates in small groups and Bible studies. George is an engineer at Picatinny Arsenal. He is married to Kathy and has two children: Marty and Tommy.   

  • Glenn Stackhouse

    Glenn has attended Hope Church since 2012. Glenn is a physical therapist serving at the Matheny School in Peapack and at Activecare Physical Therapy in Dover. He is married to Dawn and has three children: Sam, Abby and Grace.   

  • Ian Dodds

    Ian has attended Hope Church since 2010. Ian is involved with the youth ministry and the Appalachian Service Project—an annual mission trip that Hope participates in with other local churches. He works as a software developer and lives in Mine Hill. He is married to Alexandra and has two boys: Logan and Cameron.   

  • Jim Prommel

    Jim, or-- as everyone loves to call him-- “Jimbo,” has been a member of Hope Church since 2010.   Jimbo loves to help out in various capacities around Hope.

  • John Bond

    John Bond has been a member at Hope since the beginnings of the church. He is constantly serving behind the scenes in many ways.  He is married to Amy and they have four children: Mary, Michael, Lisa, and David.

  • John Crandall

    John and wife Betty Ann  joined Hope Church in 2010. He has served the Lord in many roles with the Appalachia Service Project (ASP). John has "retired" but remains a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects.
